With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Zak of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2024 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph P. Zak; her parents, Frank Kuca and Josephine Kuca (Drozdz); her daughter Lorraine; and her siblings, Fred Kuca, John Kuca, Eugene Kuca, Frank Kuca, Jr. and Mary Kuca Jeanetti.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Jespersen (Neil), Richard Zak (Chantal) and Patricia Ostrom; her grandchildren, Lisa Fico (David), Kristen Pierce (Michael) and David Ostrom (Colleen); her great grandchildren, Daniel Fico, Jason Fico, Matthew Pierce, Katelyn Pierce and Keira Ostrom; and her sister Sally Kuca Muratori.
