Carmella Marketto Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carmella Marketto of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Marketto; her parents, Sebastian Angelica and Susan Caiola; and her brother Sebastian Angelica. She is survived by: her children, William Angiolillo (Sabrina) and Monica Bevilacqua (James); her grandchildren, Brianna, Billy, Felicia Angiolillo and Serena Bevilacqua; and her sisters, Gloria Valentin (William) and Rose Marie Goldspink (late Paul "Goldy"). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Will Leave the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Church (505 Shelton Ave, Shelton, CT 06484). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. St. Peter Cemetery (219 New Haven Ave, Derby, CT 06418).
