Barbara A. Scodese Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 87, Barbara A. Scodese of Shelton, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Vito Scodese; her parents, Leonard White and Irene White (Konarski); and her sisters, Joan and Irene White.

She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Schwenker (Gary), Deborah Scodese-French (Randy French) and Lori Todice (Joseph); her grandchildren, Christopher Sims (Candice), Danielle Schwenker-Blumberg (late Tyler Blumberg), Michael Schwenker (Angelica), Kiana French, Cameron French, Jake Todice and Nicholas Todice; her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Cheyenne Sims; her sister Lorraine LoCricchio (Lenny LoCricchio); her sister-in-law Anne Bocchino (Bob Bocchino); and her stepmother Betty White. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A procession was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (50 Donovan Ln, Shelton, CT 06484). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
