It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alexandrina Rodrigues of Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Ilidio Lopes Rodrigues; her parents, Joao Da Silva and Maria Ferreira Da Silva; and her brother Manuel. She is survived by: her children, Olivia DaCosta, Maria Khawly (Ed), George Rodrigues (Maria) and Francisco Rodrigues (Maria); her grandchildren, Alexandra (Brian), Sergio (Kristina), Daniela, Edouard, Tania (Josh), David, Vanessa (Jimmy), Tiffany (Elio) and Kimberly; her great grandchildren, Tiago, Christian, Theo, Ava, Layla and Jaxon; and her siblings, Adelino, Antonio, Carolina and Almira. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (429 Huntington Rd, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Huntington Lawn Cemetery South (268 Huntington St, Shelton, CT 06484).
