It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Kilmer Sr. in Sharon, Connecticut, born in Millerton, New York, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Kilmer and Alberta Kilmer (Wessley); his brother Sidney Kilmer, Jr.; and his grandson William McWhirt, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kilmer (Goewey); his children, Laurie Adams of Poughkeepsie, NY, Tammy Gazzoli (Rick) of Colbrook, NH and Walter Kilmer, Jr. (Kelly) of Millerton; and his brother Neil Kilmer (Dawn) of Millerton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
