With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary M. Scata (Sharon, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 20, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Scata; her parents, Raffael Magnotta and Raffaella Magnotta (DelVecchio); and her siblings, Angelo Mastrangelo, Pauline Martineau, Loretta Pizzoni and Anna Remillard.
She is survived by: her children, Diane M. Shields of Marlborough and Paul Scata Jr. of Canton; her granddaughter Emily P. Shields of Mansfield; and her siblings, Rose M. Cary of Marlborough and Thomas Magnotta of Manchester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
