Sandra K. Benham Obituary
The memory of Sandra K. Benham of Seymour, Connecticut, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Horischak and Elsie Horischak (Gluss); her husband Richard J Benham; her daughter Charlene Giardina; and her grandson Christopher Bova.
She is survived by: her stepmother Anna Horischak (Skuret); her daughters, Susan Benham, Debra Benham of Seymour, Cynthia Bova (John) of Wolcott and Darlene Cottle (Jonathan) of New Hartford; her son-in-law Luigi Giardina of Southbury; her grandsons, Shawn Bova (Marie), Justin Bova (Katelyn Ryan), Sebastiano Giardina and Zachary Giardina; and her great grandchild Landon Bova.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Miller Macari Family Funeral Home (260 Bank St, Seymour, CT 06483). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd - St. Nicholas (135 Mountain Rd, Seymour, CT 06483). A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Calendar Mountain Meadows Cemetery (117 Mountain Rd, Seymour, CT 06483).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
