He was predeceased by: his parents, Konstandinos Syrgiannis and Soulthana Syrgiannis; and his siblings, John, Dimitrios Syrgiannis and Katina Syrgiannis.

He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Syrgiannis (Hunyadi); his children, Nandia Syrgiannis, Christina Syrgiannis (Tosha), Loretta Ferrigno (Frank) and Jacquelyn Cushman (Will); his grandchildren, Tommy, Kristen, Nick, Stephen, Zain, Jack and William; and his sister Maria Baur. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
