With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alvin G. Meyer of Seymour, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore H. Meyer and Emma Jahne Meyer; his wives, Yvonne Pizone Meyer and Carol Cadoret Meyer; and his brother Theodore E. Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Damon, Brian Meyer (Bernice) and Jeff Meyer (Ruth); his stepsons, Robert E. Cadoret (Cindy), Daniel J. Cadoret (Donna) and James M. Cadoret (Leslie); his grandchildren, Christopher Damon, Jessica Silva, Melissa Richardone, Andrew Meyer, Megan Meyer Elenburg, Kyle Meyer, Kaity, Kenny, Ashley, Noelle and Jake; and his great grandchild Brooke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Miller Macari Family Funeral Home (260 Bank St, Seymour, CT 06483). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (25 Great Hill Rd, Oxford, CT 06478).
