He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore H. Meyer and Emma Jahne Meyer; his wives, Yvonne Pizone Meyer and Carol Cadoret Meyer; and his brother Theodore E. Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Damon, Brian Meyer (Bernice) and Jeff Meyer (Ruth); his stepsons, Robert E. Cadoret (Cindy), Daniel J. Cadoret (Donna) and James M. Cadoret (Leslie); his grandchildren, Christopher Damon, Jessica Silva, Melissa Richardone, Kyle, Andrew Meyer, Megan Meyer Elenburg, Kaity, Kenny, Ashley, Noelle and Jake; and his great grandchild Brooke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
