He was predeceased by: his parent William Earl; and his siblings, Andy Newman, Shirley Barrett, Andrea Hassett and Fran Bradley.

He is survived by: his parent Alice Newman (Bowers); his stepchildren, Lisa Fuller (Roger) of Bozrah and John Campbell (Bevin) of Montrose, CO; his daughters, Shannon Newman (Daniel LaClair) of Ferrisburgh, VT and Heather Regan (Shawn) of North Port, FL; his brother Earl Newman of Greencastle, PA; his grandchildren, Rachel, Silas, John, Raven Duke, Ashley Fuller, Kelsey Fuller, Arlo Campbell and Stella Campbell; his great grandchild Erik Preston; and his sister-in-law Colleen Newman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
