He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Spoerl and Hilda Spoerl; his wife Anne Spoerl; and his brother Alfred. He is survived by: his children, Susan (Larry), Robert (Carol), Fred (Gail) and Linda (Mike); his grandsons, Edward and Matthew (Emily); his great grandchild Ben; and his close friends, Tim Linkala, Joe Risago, Barbara and Phil.
