It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex A. Job of Scotland, Connecticut, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Job and Mary Job; his son Jonathan Job; his grandson Bryan Robbins; his brothers, Louis Job, Marcus Job and Julius Job; and his siblings-in-law, Antoinette Job, Ida Job and John Luzzi.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Job (DeGray); his children, Stephen Job (Jaye Mabesoone), Timothy (Margaret Job), Kathleen Cole of Niantic, CT, Thomas Job of Willimantic, CT, Carolyn Wallace of Waterford, CT, Peter Job (Gregory) of Preston, CT and Tina Job of Windham, CT; his siblings, Amelia, Bob Burger of Marlborough, CT, Mary Luzzi of Waterford, CT and Victor Job of Groton, CT; and his sister-in-law Delores Job of Sun City, FL.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church (46 Valley St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
