It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Margaret Walsh of Sandy Hook, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 89, on December 15, 2024. She was predeceased by: her husband James P. Walsh Jr. (Jim); her parents, Henry Norwood Bement and Olive Evelyn Bement (Dickerson); her siblings, Fred Bement, Dick Bement and Sally Luongo (Bement); and her son Michael Walsh.
She is survived by: her sister Nancy Chase (Bement) of Petersburg, NY; her daughter-in-law Nina Walsh of Roxbury, CT; and her children, James (Dinah Walsh), Kevin (Sandy Walsh), Sharon (David Brace), Colleen and Mary Kathleen (Julio Ceballos). She is also survived by grandchildren and seven adoring great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (46 Church Hill Rd, Newtown, CT 06470). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Rose of Lima Church (46 Church Hill Rd, Newtown, CT 06470).
