It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julian J. Brix of Sandy Hook, Connecticut, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brix and Gertrude Brix (Pritz); his brother Michael Brix; his son-in-law Larry Miner; and his stepson Scott Kiernan.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Brix; his children, Laura Newbury (Chris), Leslie Miner and Garry Brix (Amy); his grandchildren, Jack, Sam, Emma and Leo Brix; his brother Alan Brix (Caryl); his sister-in-law Janice Brix; and his stepsons, Trey, Ted and Ryan Kiernan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of New Canaan (178 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan, CT 06840).
