He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Hensel Jr. of Sandy Hook; and his grandfathers, Fred Wendling Jr. and Kenneth Darrell Hensel Sr. of Sandy Hook. He is survived by: his mother Karen Hensel (Michael Pierwola) of Sandy Hook; his brothers, Jordan Hensel (Christina Moon) and Kyle Hensel (Kristen Ashley Hensel); his grandparents, Shirley Wendling, Thomas, Elizabeth Eaton of Sandy Hook and Ruth Hensel; his aunts and uncles, Kristen Werden of Wallingford, Siobhan Hensel of Southbury, Patty and Steve Powers of Newtown; his cousins, Aiden, Brady, Ryker, Shane, Cameron, Riley, Joey, Delaney and Alyssa; and also Khloe Arielle Hensel.
Following CDC guidelines, a covid sensitive walk-through visitation will be held at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown on Saturday March 6, 2021 between 10am-1pm.
