He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Lopreato and Luigia Lopreato (Sganga). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lopreato (Perrone); his son Anthony (Ruth) of Damariscotta, Maine; and his brother Louis Lopreato (Grace) of Yorktown Heights, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Rose of Lima church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown, CT 06470.
