She was predeceased by: her husband Mario Rossi; her parents, Emil Wetzel and Else Wetzel (Neuhauser); and her brother Gerhard Wetzel. She is survived by: her children, Carol Schmidt (Gustave) of Southbury, Evelyn Dwyer (Michael) of Prospect and Thomas Rossi of Wolcott; her grandchildren, Michelle Jackson (Wes) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Garrett Schmidt of Alexandria, VA, Brian Dwyer (Connie) of Cromwell and Sarah Dwyer of Prospect; her great grandchildren, Eleonore, Anneliese Jackson and Liam Dwyer; and her sisters, Gretel of Germany and Gerda Wetzel of Germany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Eleonore's name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
