He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Alfonso and Geraldine Alfonso (Tasillo). He is survived by: his wife Diane Pesko; his sons, Gerald M. Alfonso Jr. of East Lyme and Scott L. Alfonso of New London; his brother Louis Alfonso (Elizabeth); his grandson Steven Alfonso; and his nephew Timothy Alfonso. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
