It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John R. Kayner of Roxbury, Connecticut, born in Port Chester, New York, who passed away on January 21, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Kayner (Simpson); his parents, Raymond Kayner and Mae Kayner (Archibald); his son Stephen Kayner; his daughter-in-law Deborah Kayner; and his sister Adele Francia.

He is survived by: his children, Shawna Angarano (Rich) of Brookfield, CT and John Kayner (Jeffrey Zubkoff) of Danbury, CT; his grandchildren, Darci Angarano (Eric Larson) and Marc Angarano (Becca); and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Sam, Riley, Brook and Gillian Angarano. He is also survived by several nieces, and a nephew.
