He was predeceased by: his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ruffy Stachelek; his children, Kira and Darren; his brothers, Robert (Gale), Ken (Patricia) and Tom (Kathy Muzyczka); and his siblings-in-law, Alouise Pelletier (James Read), Stephen Ruffy (Diane DePalma) and Gregory Ruffy (Jeanne). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
