He was predeceased by: his mother Constance B. Newton; and his sister Phyllis "Lori" Newton. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Newton of Rocky Hill, CT; his father Emanuel Newton of Freeport, IL; and his brothers, Richard Newton, Terrence Newton and Maurice Muhammad of Bloomington, IL. He is also survived by numerous Aunts and Uncles, three nephews, two nieces, two great-nephews, two great-nieces, and hundreds of cousins.
