Thomas H. Ghent Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas H. Ghent of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ghent and Loretta Ghent (Pianka); and his brother William Ghent. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ghent of Rocky Hill; his son Brian Ghent of Lake View, SC; his daughter-in-law Crystal Hodge-Ghent; his grandson Gavin Ghent of Lake View, SC.; his sister Judith Silver of Loxahatchee, FL; and his close friends, Frank and Paula Tranchina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. During Covid, Tom and Barb would go to Westside Market in Rocky Hill early on Sundays.
