She was predeceased by: her husband Albert E. Root, Jr.; her daughter Pamela Christian; and her grandson Grant Stanton. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Root of Wethersfield, Ted Root (Kelly) of North Carolina and Janice Stanton (Pete Mantovani) of Rocky Hill; her granddaughter Haley Stanton of Wethersfield; and her cousin Victoria Wentworth of Windsor.
