Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sylvia Ann Lavado (Rocky Hill, Connecticut), born in Ilion, New York, who passed away at the age of 84, on July 20, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Haggerty and Gladys Haggerty; her husband Carlos Lavado; her brother William Durse; and her stepfather Salvatore Durse.
She is survived by: her children, David Lavado (Julia), Rosemarie Fleming (Joseph) and Susan Kunst (Erich); her sister Frances Longo; her grandchildren, Robert Lavado (Sara), Stephanie Lavado-Berghorn (Kevin), Jennifer Shew (Joseph), Allyson Wall (Richard), Blake Kunst and Garrison Kunst; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Alexis, Cora, Hudson and Brayden.
Due to the trials of Covid19, face masks and safe social distancing are required and the amount of people in attendance will be monitored.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Sylvia would like donations to be made in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org/donate).
