He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William Mangan and Elizabeth Cummings Mangan; his wife Madeline Gargonia; and his siblings, Edward and Rose Mangan Jackson.
He is survived by: his son Richard Mangan; and his daughters-in-law, Monica of Tucson, AZ and Nancy of Glastonbury, CT.. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
