With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard J. Sicotte of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, born in Newport, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Sicotte and Mary Jane Sicotte (Phenix). He is survived by: his wife Linda Sicotte (Moran); his children, Jason Sicotte (Doreen) of Southbury, Michelle Lavoie (Dennis) of Bristol, Lisa Newhall (Dan) of Surfside Beach, SC, Lori Freeman (Dan) of Newington and Marc Bouthet (Terri) of Aberdeen, MD; his grandchildren, Erica McConnell (Devan), John Coyne (Kim), Caitlin Coyne (Lauren), Travis Bouthet, Sean Lavoie (Dayna Houle), Alyssa Lavoie, Paige Lavoie, Taylor Blanco, Kayla Sicotte, Hailey Blanco, Megan Sicotte, Jessica Bouthet, Alexandra Freeman and Morgan Freeman; and his great grandchildren, Finn, Dublin McConnell, Delilah and Mackenna Coyne.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Church (280 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).

I ALWAYS looked forward to spending time with him as he was the brother I never had. I will miss his calls and visits to VT his passing leaves a hole in my heart.
