He is survived by: his sister Ruby Tamaya; his wife Yvonne Gopaul; his grandsons, Stephen Gopaul, Christopher Gopaul and Nicholas Gopaul; and also, Anthony, Debbie Gopaul, Terry, Yvonne Gopaul, Donna, Andrew Ramsaroop, Graceann, Ernie Roy and Dr. Margaret Gopaul. He is also survived by five children.
