With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mafalda F. Fanelli of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Ferraro and Cecelia Ferraro (Cuglietto); her husband Robert Fanelli; her siblings, Carmela Ferraro, Frank Ferraro, Joseph Ferraro, Rose Serwatka and Albert Ferraro; and her son-in-law Jack Ginley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Ginley of South Portland, ME and Barbara Fowlds (Sidney) of Yorktown Heights, NY; her grandchildren, Barbara Ginley (Brad MacCachran) of Portland, ME, Brian Ginley (Danelle Chereck) of Peachtree Corners, GA, Caroline Ginley of Pittsboro, NC, Christopher Fowlds (Kirsten) of Yorktown Heights, NY and Carrie Shelley (Kenny) of Yorktown Heights, NY; and her great grandchildren, Cyrus, Tobey MacCachran of Portland, ME, Samuel, El Rogers of Pittsboro, NC, Connor, Keira Shelley of Yorktown Heights, NY, Cooper and Lily Fowlds of Yorktown Heights. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
