It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lea Buchanan of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James W. Buchanan; her parents, Paul Cavalieri and Pauline Cavalieri; her son Paul S. Buchanan; her son-in-law John F. Kearney; and her sisters, Mary Lantieri, Francesca Cavalieri and Marguerita Rafala.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Wotton (Cleve), Laura Kearney, Diane Westbrook (Kirk) and Philip Buchanan (Rochelle); and her daughter-in-law Trish Buchanan. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
