He was predeceased by: his parents, William Smedberg and Alberta Smedberg (Elton); his wife Anne Smedberg (Connors); and his siblings, William, George, Leonard, Carol and Frances.
He is survived by: his sons, Paul Smedberg (Michael) and Jon Smedberg (Nathalie); and his grandchildren, Mary Lou Bernier, Cory, Chad, Connor, Luc and Claire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
