It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Brian Sweeney (Rocky Hill, Connecticut), born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Paul Joseph Sweeney. He is survived by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Sweeney (Shea); his daughter Kristen Michelle Rapisarldi (Sweeney); his grandchild Luca; his significant other Carmela Calafiore; his close friend Carmela Calafiore; his son-in-law Salvatore Rapisarldi; his grandchildren, Gianna Rose and Salvatore Luca Rapisarldi; his siblings, Joyce Sweeney, Paul Sweeney, Susan Sweeney Walsh, Sheila Sweeney Hummel, John Sweeney and Patrick Sweeney; his siblings-in-law, John Walsh and Nancy Sweeney; and his nieces and nephews, Kathryn Walsh Narrow (David), Cate Sweeney, Margaret Sweeney, Alexa Sweeney, Christopher Sansone, Jack Walsh, Zack Hummel, Brian Sweeney, Andrew Hummel and Michael Walsh. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, an uncle.
