He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Steimer and Milford Steimer. He is survived by: his wife Edyie; his daughters, Lisa Steimer and Janice Steimer-Tantimonico; his niece Lori Calvert; and his great-nephew Zachary Calvert.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Brooklawn Funeral Home (511 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
John requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to CT Foodshare.
