She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Nash Brown; her parents, Albert Rice and Helena Jessop Rice; and her brother Christopher Rice. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Brown (Sue Ann) of St. Mary's, GA, Timothy Brown (Melanie) of Cape Charles, VA, Leslie Mattos (Ken) of Zionsville, PA and Patricia Driscoll (David Fuini) of East Hartford; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by grandchildren, eleven cherished great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Jean's memory may be made to the Oxford United Church of Christ-Congregational or to the Connecticut Human Society, both through the funeral home.
