It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Israel Recio (Rocky Hill, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 19, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Recio (Swiderski); his parents, Israel S. Recio and Mary Recio (Moniz); his son Christopher Merolli; and his sister Olga Recio.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Merolli Pilla (Jeff); his grandsons, Logan and Jeffery Pilla of Waterbury; and his sister Dolores Ruela of Naugatuck. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
