It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Giulia Cesira Yacone (Rocky Hill, Connecticut), who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Yacone; her daughter Patricia Yacone; and her sisters, Anna Perfetto and Giuseppina Matarazzo. She is survived by: her children, Antoinette Dellert, Rebecca Dellert Simeone (John), Kyle Dellert and Mark Dellert; and her siblings, Maria Assunta Mazzeo, Alba Capobianco and Nazzareno (Lucia).
Donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated in Giulia's memory to the Children's Museum of West Hartford where she donated her NASA and other space related historical memorabilia.
