With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Catherina Carola of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Dalton and Monica Dalton (Kavalenos); her husband Nicholas Carola; her sister Evelyn Hendricks; her sibling-in-law Nicolina; her husband Joseph Carola; her sisters, Carmella Uccello (Sebastian), Marie Cappetta (Nicholas) and Josephine D'Aloisio (Carl); and also Alice.
She is survived by: her children, Nicholas (Kim) of Cromwell, Timothy and Michele of Cromwell; and her grandchildren, Deanna Carola and Nicholas A. Carola III.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home (580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint James Church (767 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
