It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Devanney Jr. (Rocky Hill, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Devanney Sr. and Veronica Devanney (Burlingham); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his former wife Judy Waterbury (David) of Cape May, NJ; his wife Christine Devanney (Barry) of Rocky Hill, CT; and his children, Desiree Liberty of Houston, TX, Katrina Barbeau (James) of West Hartford, CT, Donald Devanney III (Susan) of Alstead, NH, Dane Devanney (Teresa) of Fell Township, PA, Debra Devanney (Thomas Reilly Jr.) of Rocky Hill, CT and Julie Devanney (Anthony Faienza Jr.) of Rocky Hill, CT.. He is also survived by grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brooklawn Funeral Home (511 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
