It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Darelius Lorenson (Rocky Hill, Connecticut), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulda Darelius and Carl Darelius; her husband Frederick Lorenson; and her siblings, Regina Villaume, Eleanor McCallum, Charles, Roderick and Conrad Darelius.
She is survived by: her children, Sheryl (Bill Stone), Keith (Debby Lorenson) and Nancy (Jeff Cook); her grandchildren, Caitlin Stone, Jeremy, Erin Stone, Chelsea Cook, Jon DeCarlo, Elizabeth, Kevin Golebieski, Chad and Lianna Cook; her great grandchildren, Madeleine, Annabelle Stone, Monica Reichstein, Owen, Aislinn DeCarlo, Ethan Golebieski and Cassian Cook; her cousin Joan Chirnside; and her in-laws, Ed, Laura Lorenson and Edith Judd. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
