He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel DaCosta and Maria Nazare DaCosta. He is survived by: his wife Maria Ceu DaCosta of Portugal; his children, Christopher (Heather) and Stephanie (Konstantin); and his grandchildren, Maya and Kai.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Church (280 Brook St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
