He is survived by: his mother Margaret Appelle (Kleszcz); his stepfather Michael Esposito of Plantsville; his siblings, Paul J. Appelle (Tania Archambault) of Safety Harbor, FL and Deborah V. Carpenter (Serge) of Middletown; his nieces, Samantha Appelle and Megan Whalen; and his stepchildren, Brad and Trish Malone.
