With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Alvarez of Rockfall, Connecticut, born in Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Orlando M. Alvarez; her parents, Harvey Snow and Jeannette Snow (LaJennesse); her grandson John Sample; her brother Richard; and her sister-in-law Yvonne "Bin" Snow.
She is survived by: her children, Eleanor Sample (Dale) of South Carolina, Lu "Lorretta" Alvarez of Connecticut and Teresa Pappas (Jason) of Connecticut; her grandchildren, Jessica Fulfer (John), Alex Alvarez and Christina Pappas; and her great grandchildren, Julian, Brianna, Kameron, Savannah, Liliana and Jeremiah.
