It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Alden (Riverside, Connecticut), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 25, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Marion Alden and Frederick Alden; his sister Betty; his wife Persis; his sister Elizabeth Parker; his children, Susan Frelinghuysen (Denis), Stephen Olson (Sara) and Nancy Olson (Charles); and his grandchildren, Caroline Frelinghuysen Buck (Henry), Alden Frelinghuysen, Theodore Frelinghuysen, Robert Alden, Andrew Alden, Nancy Alden, Charles Olson and Hunter Olson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Congregational Church.
