It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Bonaparte of Riverside, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Macrino Bonaparte and Immacolata Bonaparte; his wife Frances Boratyn; his daughter Ellen; and his siblings, Joseph, Nick, Otto and Gilda.

He is survived by: his children, Paul Bonaparte-Krogh (Anne) of Concord, NH, Kate Wilen (Richard) of Yoncalla, OR., Michael Bonaparte (Lori) of Riverside, CT. and David Bonaparte (Heather) of Ridgefield, CT.; his grandchildren, Mary, Kate, Kelsey, Phoebe, Will, Charlie, Claudia and Matthew; and his great grandchild John Joseph (JJ). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
