She was predeceased by: her husband Roger J. Smith; her father Charles Wheeler; and her son-in-law William Galovich. She is survived by: her children, Burton Smith, Wendy Galovich and Audrey Smith; her grandchildren, Desiree and Benjamin; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Shelby and Simari; and her brother Ralph Wheeler of Massachusetts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America or the National Audubon Society.
