Walter T. Donovan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter T. Donovan of Ridgefield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Donovan and Lucy Donovan (Mancusi). He is survived by: his wife Margie (Donohue); his children, Thomas Donovan, Jeanne Blekis (Anthony) and Theresa Herbert (Gannon); his grandsons, Aiden and Chase Blekis; his brother Michael Donovan (Sharon); his nephew Michael; his niece Kristin; his sister Sharon Mackey; his nieces, Paulette and Joy; and his goddaughter Miranda. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kane Funeral Home (25 Catoonah St, Ridgefield, CT 06877). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (55 Catoonah St, Ridgefield, CT 06877).
