We bid farewell to Richard Edward McEvoy of Ridgefield, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McEvoy and May McEvoy (Jacox); his sister Lois Donofrio; his nephew Edward Esposito; and his significant other Despina Page (Dee).
He is survived by: his daughter Cara Young (Rob); his grandchildren, Emma, James, Averie and Elise; his sisters, Joyce Abrahamsen and Phyllis Limperatos; his former wife Donna McEvoy; and his close friend Judi Franz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kane Funeral Home (25 Catoonah St, Ridgefield, CT 06877). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (55 Catoonah St, Ridgefield, CT 06877).
