It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Connelly Jr. of Ridgefield, Connecticut, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Connelly and Margaret Connelly (McInerney); his wife Josephine; his sons, James Patrick III and Thomas John; and his sister Mary Ahern.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Melinda), Elizabeth Greenman, Mary Ronan (Ed) and Faith; his grandchildren, Tim (Nicole), Brian (Amanda), Chris (Natalie), Patrick Connelly (Laura), Steve Ronan (Darcy), Maggie Gavin (Sean) and James P Connelly IV; his stepchildren, Joanne Moore (Jim), Diane, Nancy and Arthur Michaelson (Julia); his stepgrandchildren, Thomas, James, Margaret, Nick, Nate, Matthew, Bridget, Tess and Trey; and also Toma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
