He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Brazero (Suarez) and Ezequiel Ortiz Brazero. He is survived by: his wife Maria Ortiz; his daughters, Marza Ortiz, Sandra Dalem (Anthony), Evelyn Simels (Robert) and Janet Ortiz; his grandchildren, Liza Geigel, Nelson Lopez, Amanda Dalem, Adam Ma, Alexandra Simels, William Simels and Jacob Santiago; his great grandchildren, Tye Castle, Taylor Castle, Mia Lopez and Ava Lopez; and his siblings, Jose Luis Ortiz and Daisy Galarza (Hipolito).
