It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria M. Sharkany (Ridgefield, Connecticut), who passed away on September 10, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert A. Sharkany; her parent Nazzareno Lavatori; her husband Bob; and her siblings, John Lavatori, Ponziano Lavatori and Margaret Lavatori Kunak.

She is survived by: her parent Nina Lavatori (Roberti); her son Patrick Sharkany of Bethel; and her siblings, Gene Lavatori and Angie Santini (Lavatori).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department – 6 Catoonah St., Ridgefield.
