With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Fitzgerald of Ridgefield, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2025 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude McGrail McDonnell and Bernard McDonnell; her siblings, Mary Butler, John and Vincent McDonnell; her brother-in-law John "Jack" Fitzgerald; her granddaughter Melissa Fitzgerald; and her nephews, Edward McDonnell and John Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Ann (late George Haug), Bill (Lynn), Bob, Diane F. Bell (late Ken) and Tom (Patricia); her grandchildren, Katelyn, Janel and Stephen Fitzgerald (Jenn); her sister-in-law Marian Fitzgerald; and her nieces and nephews, Ann McDonnell Sterback, Rick Fitzgerald, Michael Fitzgerald, Patti Gervais, Jimmy Fitzgerald, Mary Beth Butler, Bill Butler and Maureen Beall.
